Dreams, Ghosts, Paranormal Activities, Strange life events

So I have always had very vivid and lucid dreams. Also, I have had many astral projections. I suffer from sleep paralysis and often I have night terrors.  I have also experienced "Old Hag Syndrome" quit a few times. They all seem to be some sort of a premonition or symbolic of bad things to come. Twice  in my life I have seen apparitions (yes ghosts) and I was no where near a sleeping state of mind, so it was no question about it being REAL. Ive had dreams in which people who have passed away have come to visit me and sent along little messages. For the record I don't take sedatives, do any drugs, no, I am not a crazy person either. No they aren't hallucinations. I would have been diagnosed a long time ago during my emotionally disturbed EMO centric teenage years. LOL :)  I am actually very private and shy about this because I know people are quick to pass judgment or accuse me of not being honest. But I have always kept a record on things of this nature that I have experienced. And I have had some witnesses. Please read this with an open mind and know I am being 100% honest and would like people to share and step forward with their stories.

When I was around 12 years old, I was laying in bed reading a book with a small light on. I looked at the doorway and saw my mom walk past into the next room and turn on the light. I called for her and I got up and went into the room and there was no one there!!. When I searched the house I found her- She was all the way in the kitchen sitting down reading a magazine and smoking a cigarette. I remember telling her what happened and she told me I was just dreaming and to go back to bed. I was wide awake, 100% positive wide awake! and who else switched that light on?? That was one of my first abnormal experiences.  It always drives me crazy to think about that day.    The fact that my mother passed away so young doesn't help alleviate this mystery for me either.
So, I want to speak about some recent crazy events. On the night of March 28th 2011, I had one nightmare after another where I was waking up every hour scared and trembling. In the last nightmare, It was one of those where, while dreaming, I wake up in my bed thinking it is reality but I am actually still dreaming. I heard a noise coming from downstairs and sounded as if someone broke into my house and was coming up the stairs. When the burglar finally showed their face it was a hideous and deranged looking woman. She had an ax in her hands, and she was ready to swing it right at me.  Just about to split my head open when I jolted awake.

I don't know if my eyes were fuzzy or what but I definitely CLEARLY saw a sort of beige colored lighted shape that looked EXACTLY like an ghost of a man upside down hanging from my ceiling. And he was staring at me laying in the bed. He was grimacing at me, it felt extremely evil, and his face was in a malicious scowl. During this episode, I was paralyzed. He slowly  disappeared and I was able to move again and I immediately woke up my boyfriend to tell him and he just mumbled in his sleep and held me. I could not fall back asleep, I was very disturbed.   This started one very disturbing week.

The day after that dream, the police found a deceased man in front of my house. He was riding a bike, and fell out- it was probably a heart attack or something of that sort. I was at work when this happened but my boyfriend woke up to the sound of sirens and crime scene tape and he told me what happened. It deeply disturbed me. We didn't know who he was, and ever since that day I get such a creepy feeling when I walk to and from my car to my house. I will probably always feel this sad feeling I get crossing over where they found his body.

That same week me and my ex bf saved 2 dogs from killing each other. We happened to be driving past and see 2 pitbulls locked jaws with a frantic crowd surrounding them (I thought the lockjaw was a myth) They were bleeding profusely and had their jaws tight around their neck and face. I screamed at my boyfriend to stop the car and he jumped out and grabbed the dogs hind legs and pulled and they finally released each other. I was so upset in tears. We just looked at each other crazy like we had the same disturbed feeling about this entire week.

On the highway home we are cruising along a 4 lane highway in the middle lane when I see this little (2 or 3) girl on the right side of me running down the driveway towards the highway. I scream out the window STOP RIGHT THERE and she paused right at the curb. My boyfriend slammed on the brakes jumped out of the car and ran after her. Just then a car sped right past her. Literally it  could have skimmed her nose that's how close it was. There were no adults around! Then her mom appears out of the garage and runs to grab her and points to the road saying you could have got killed. We both have chills running down our backs.

Death was chasing us.
I had experiences later on (this is edited in the year 2020)

For some reason, my brain connects all these strange events in a sequence. Exactly one month after seeing that ghastly menacing apparition, In May 2011, my girlfriend passed away. I cant help feeling like this was a warning or some type of a bad omen. April and May have always been bad luck months for me and I seem to have some sort of weird unexplainable or bad tragedies during this time.

April and May of 2009 I had extreme tragedies and weird dreams as well.
Well, My mother passed away in April 2009. And I had a very lucid dream after she passed. We were sorting thru her personal possessions and she was crying. She kept telling me she wasn't ready to go yet, and I was helping her pack up her things.I had another dream sometime later. We were somewhere cold, and wet, and it was very bright, so bright I couldn't see anything. And I heard my mother say, "It doesn't matter if its cold or  wet, as long as we are together, we can stay here together forever" And I felt her hug me and I got really warm and happy. It was so comforting, and very healing to me. It was beautiful and therapeutic to my soul. I know it was her coming to see me!

In May 2009, Me and my ex bf were occasionally  hanging out with a motorcycle crew called "Borinquen Riders" and decided to take a bike trip with them to an event up in Newark NJ. There were about 10 bikes and 2 cars (all the girls lol). It seems as if that day death was chasing us. A helmet flew off and almost hit 2 of the bikers which would have caused a major accident (one of them being my boyfriend). 2 of the bikes at different times broke down right in the middle of the highway. One of the guys, Noel, got in an argument with his wife and threw his helmet at a car. The driver of the car I was in, kept swerving to avoid hitting another vehicle. When she pulled over to help one of the bikes that wouldn't start- I ended up feeling I would have a better chance on the bike, not to mention I was split off from my boyfriend who took off down the highway unaware I was left behind.. I told our friend Cesar I would rather ride home with him on the bike also so he can catch up to my boyfriend. So we took off and I literally felt like I was about to fall off the bike. I was used to riding with my boyfriend who is all big and brawlic and conscientious of me as a passenger, and this kid is super skinny and a showoff revving the engine-  I had no grip on the bike. I was terrified I was going to fall off and die!
We finally meet up with the rest of the crew, and one of the Bikers Noel, told us to meet up at his house later for drinks and BBQ. Me and my boyfriend had previous plans, and after that day that we felt like death was chasing us, we decided to leave immediately .

Later that night, when Noel was riding home, he was hit by a van, the woman was not a licensed driver. He passed away the next morning from his injuries. Later, we drove past where his accident was, and we took a shard of his neon green bike to remember him by. Going to his funeral and seeing his wife and children was heartbreaking.

I never felt the presence of death so close that I felt his breath on my neck, until that day. We all talked about how felt death in the air. The grim reaper succeeded and took one, and I KNEW he wouldn't quit until he got one. :( Very sad and I will never forget that short memory I have of him when he was carrying his granddaughter on his shoulders as we walked thru the parade.

Let me now elaborate on some of my astral projection stories.

One instance, the exact second I laid my head down on the pillow to go to sleep... what feels like my soul escaped thru my nose and I was watching myself sleep. I then noticed the blanket I appeared to be wearing was a green fuzzy blanket. I do not own one of those. The second I realized that, the blanket switched to the red plaid one I DID fall asleep with and my soul came crashing down back into my body.

Another instance... I felt my soul get stuck trying to get out of my body and I look and see my cat laying on my legs. I woke up immediately and yes, there he was, laying on my legs!
Actually one out of body experience I was traveling thru my town I was lost, I finally found my house and float into my room and I see a creepy little girl standing against the wall. I fall back into my body and I then woke up bewildered.

I remember another time, I fell asleep for what felt like 5 seconds and I heard high wailing sounds and felt someone beating on my back. I had trouble waking from that one.
They seem to come at random times without any provoking by me. I have read that some people practice this astral projection for years with no success. Strange someone would want to experience something  so scary and uncontrollable.
Share some of your strange stories with me! I have an open mind and I wont pass any judgement on you :)

Mindless Souls

Zone out to the monotonous tone, Mindless bodies with rotten souls
Thoughts in transit… yet never meeting their destination
Ancient words are misconstrued and lost into the web of translation…
Our generation has been deprived of the divine guidance…
We have no trust, no wisdom and no self-confidence
Our peers pressure us to participate in social activities.
They have materialistic persona's with a necessity for luxuries…
Our sole purpose was to discover the truth behind our existence
Instead we denied the cause and the effect was societies resistance.
This is a state of emergency- with daily mass casualties
We stood up against each other and a started a worldwide rivalry
Diverse cultures formed into a group of misplaced warriors
We battled our way thru the crowds of displeased followers
We co exist in similar habitats, all lined up like the monopoly board
The American dream died when it was hung halfway down the pole
Despite the ashes and dust of those who were the bravest amongst us
We failed; and the wings of Victory are now tattered and worn past recognition.
We slept soundly thru the second greatest depression ……
Grasping onto the false visions displayed on plasma TVs
Advertisements force placed into our scrambled membranes…
Each product is guaranteed to be the last one that remains
Communists manipulate their statistics on individualists
All competing to find the most profitable target market
Each feeding the underline prophecy to fill your voids…
Flashing lights and fine print words scrolling thru your vision.
A prescription for every symptom, our immune systems have crashed
We are built of nervous neurological cells that must analyze your antics.
We were conceived with mandatory instructions to mass reproduce…
Each generation has lost one more particle of history…

BONE CHILLERS

BONE CHILLIN FILMS: VICTORY'S TOP 20 LIST

1: The Crow - This is by far my favorite movie of all times. I am a big fan of the comic series as well. Brandon Lee is one of my favorite actors of all time; I wish he was still here with us today. The sequel to this movie was great as well, but it lacked that essence only Brandon could bring. May he Rest in Peace.

2. The Lost Boys- This should not be in 2nd place, it was my first favorite movie EVER. I wanted to join the Vampire Gang and rule the streets at night. I wanted the bad guys to win. I still cry when Kiefer Sutherland dies. I still listen to the soundtrack. I still wish I was Star riding on the back of David’s motorcycle.

3. Queen of the Damned- Hands down this is the greatest interpretation of the infamous Anne Rice novel. Aaliyah was the best actress to choose for Akasha, The queen of the Vampires. I adore the erotic yet evil beauty instilled in every intricate scene of this film. Honestly, I could watch this movie a thousand times and I will never get sick of it.

4. I am Legend- This is a must see film that everyone will love. Will Smith did a fabulous job acting as though he was the last human on earth after the world was engulfed by evil creatures. A fabulous story of survival and human instincts.

5. The Cell- The imagery in this film is what won my heart over. As the audience, we are taking a step inside the mind of a serial killer and it is very surreal yet realistic all together. It is like Salvador Dali's mind except he is way more warped and sadistic.

6. Seven- This was such an awesome film that portrays a serial killer who selects certain victims that are- according to the bible- sinners, and leaving them displayed in a crime scene that interprets one of the 7 deadly sins. Another disturbing yet magnetically fascinating thriller.

7. Resident Evil – Milla Jovovich kicks serious ASS in this film. This is one of the ultimate movies for cult following of traditional zombie films; in which she has been designed as a secret weapon against the deadly zombie virus. This was also an awesome video game I was addicted to for some time.

8. Desperation – This was a fabulous interpretation of the Stephen King Novel. It places you in a desolate area with the feel of impeding danger.Creepy abandoned town with a possessed by an ancient evil demonic spirit posing as a cop- captures people and turns them into evil predators.

9. Silent Hill – O-M-G- This is, by far, one of those classic Horror survival films that will forever be imprinted on your heart and soul- well of course only if you are a true horror fan. The video game was simply amazing but quite different from the movie. The movie takes a different but fabulous approach in which an adopted child gets lost in an extremely HAUNTED, abandoned, desolate and historic town and the mother wanders thru the crazy town searching for her daughter. Insert a psychotic cult and demon spirits adding a superior thrill to this tale.

10. 13 Ghosts- This is a true cinematic pleasure. This is not your typical corny ghost tale. It takes place in an amazing mansion that is formed of glass and is an amazing collaboration of science and architecture. Together the 13 ghosts form the Black Zodiac and are nothing short of unique, horrifying and creatively formed. Very enthralling.

11. Strangeland – This is a step inside a predator’s torture chamber. Written by the predator himself Dee Snider. More of a psychological thriller, which leaves a bad taste in your mouth, just how I like it!

12. Insidious – I was surprised by how amazing this film was! I relate to it totally because of my history of astral projections and nightmares (more on that later). This is an unforgettable horror film in which the characters get stuck inside the alternate reality of dreamworld and cannot escape. It is horrifying to me as that is one of my worst fears, never being able to escape my nightmare.

13. Let Me In – This was such an original one of a kind movie. A romantic yet graphic and gory horror, I don’t think that has been done too many times. You empathize with the predator, who is a preteen vampire. It is quirky, emotional, and astounding. Most people will overlook this movie in fear it targets a teen audience when in fact it is geared toward adults.

14. 30 days of night – If you love evil vampires instead of sparkly sweet ones, this movie is for you. Taking place in north Alaska where the sun doesn’t rise for 30 days, and many many innocent pedestrians are slaughtered by a hardcore badass squadron of coldblooded Vamps. I wanted the bad guys to win in this film.

15. 1408 – I cant describe how amazing this film is. A writer gets trapped inside a hotel room which is kind of like a portal to hell. No one can get to him as the room appears empty to an outsider, but inside the writer is being completely traumatized by evil entities. I loved this concept!

16. Shutter Island – This movie stands out from the rest of all the other psychological horrors. It is a true mind trip. You do not know what is real and what is completely insane.I love stepping inside a psychotic’s mind.

17. Texas ChainSaw Massacre – This is the OG of all horror films. Psychotic killers, creepy characters, blood guts and gory, and the sound of the chainsaw is your backdrop. Every version and sequel of this film has been great in my book.

18. ZombieLand – Ok one spoof allowed. This is the only hilarious horror film that will ever be on my top list. Everything else is hilarious because of bad acting and straight cheesy plots. Woody Harrelson is the shiznit- period! Now where is that Twinky? LOL

19. Haunting in Connecticut – This was an emotionally dramatic horror film. The son of the family suffers a possession when the family moves into an old historic home. The ghosts of this film are truly malicious and the home backdrop is truly decrepit therefore landing this film on my top 20 list!

20. The Devils Rejects – First of all I am a big Rob Zombie Fan. Anything he does I am automatically drawn to. His music is amazing and his movies are highly disturbing. So, my opinion is biased. Basically, psychotic killers are on the run in this plot. The film itself is highly gory and disturbing, and also, I just loved that Sheri Moon Zombie is one the main characters!

Albinism

I am truly fascinated with all things albino. I think all carriers of the albino trait are special and exceptionally beautiful. I strive to seek out every albino species, simply to marvel at the timeless beauty. Thanks to the internet I have access to the entire world of photography, right here, at my fingertips.
So, I currently have 2 albino leopard geckos. Although they are not truly albino as they have pink and brown coloring. The experts refer to their morphs as the Albino Rainwater and the Tremper. Experts refer to them as the albino species because they are devoid of the typical black markings of the normal gecko morph. Here is a genuine albino leopard gecko devoid of all color with pink eyes, simply gorgeous!

Albinism is a congenital disorder characterized by the complete or partial absence of pigment in the skin, hair and eyes due to absence or defect of an enzyme involved in the production of melanin. Albinism results from inheritance of recessive gene alleles and is known to affect all species, including humans.

These sea creatures are particularly amazing! If I caught one, I would rather keep it as a pet! lol
Albinism is the result of the biological inheritance of genetically recessive genes passed from both parents of an individual, although rarely some albino genes are inherited from only one parent.

The chance of offspring with albinism resulting from the pairing of an organism with albinism and one without albinism is low. However, because organisms can be carriers of genes for albinism without exhibiting any traits, albino offspring can be produced by two non-albino parents.

The eyes of an albino animal appear red because the color of the red blood cells in the underlying retinal blood vessels shows through where there is no pigment to obscure it.

Those with albinism usually have impaired vision due to one or more conditions. While a person with albinism may suffer from nearsightedness, farsightedness, photo-phobia or light sensitivity, the visual problems particularly associated with albinism arise from a poorly-developed retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) due to the lack of melanin.

The albinistic are generally as healthy as the rest of their species, and the condition by itself does not cause mortality.

Albino Humans have a milky or translucent skin, white or colorless hair, and eyes with pink or blue iris and deep-red pupil. Albinism is associated with a number of vision defects. Lack of skin pigmentation makes for more susceptibility to sunburn, skin cancer, and skin infections.

Unfortunately, humans with albinism suffer from a lot of negativity and criticism. In some countries sometimes they are shunned or abused. Albinism is a life threatening condition in some African states, where it is associated with stigma and superstitions. Some children have been a victim of abduction, leading to black magic, and sometimes murder. There is a belief by witch doctors that the blood and body parts of albinos - who lack pigment in their eyes, hair and skin - can bring good luck and fortune when used in potions. In 2009, in less than a year, 50 albinos across Tanzania were murdered for their body parts, shattering the country’s image as one of the most liberal and stable in Africa. This is so horrible that it makes my stomach sick. If this hurts your heart as much as mine, a donation to this charity would help that cause. http://albinocharity.org/

In some countries, Like Panama, an albino child is considered to be a blessing, and is called "a child of the moon" or a golden gift from God.
There are also some absolutely gorgeous Albino models in USA who are just absolutely stunning, and really set the mark in the fashion world.
Just take a look at this gorgeous Albino Turtle! How gorgeous is he?

I am especially fond of this albino owl...

Gosh, I just cant stop looking at gorgeous albino people and animals. I could look at their pictures for hours upon hours. I am just quite simply amazed. Not even sure why, I guess just another one of my strange obsessions and fascinations.

This is an adult male melanoid albino axolotl, the Mexican Salamander.

Must Read Books!

I'm a big huge nerdy bookworm. I confess I go thru spurts of reading books back to back furiously. Then I might take a month off till I finally decide on the next book to read. I love horror, new age, psychological thrillers, or just plain disturbing tales. I also love reading about spirituality, psychology, of course poetry amongst other things.
Here is my list of Must Read Books.

1. Fahrenheit 451 – Ray Bradbury:
I truly loved this book. I read it in high school and plan on rereading it again soon. The main plot revolves around a future American society where books are outlawed. Basically they portray televisions that are consuming all of our attention and leave no room for true knowledge. I find this book amazingly on point with how our society is turning more towards technology and straying off the path of actual books.

2. Under the Dome – Stephen King:
Stephen King is my favorite author. This was a nice long read. It is all about a small town that suffers thru a mass destruction. You find your self trapped along with the other characters. The ending has a BIG surprise and will blow your mind!

3. I am Legend - Richard Matheson -
This is such a great classic zombie/vampire Apocalypse novel. I would call it one of the originals of its genre. It is a story of survival, as the last man in the world fights to stay alive in a world where only these disgusting creatures survive.

4. Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children – Ransom Riggs
This is not a horror book. If you begin to judge this book by its cover hoping to be scared you will be disappointing. It is a heartwarming peculiar tale of a boy who is told tall tales all his life by his grandfather only to find out in the end, it is indeed a real story! You will fall in love with these young and peculiar characters!

5. Desperation- Stephen King
This was one of the scariest books I have read.
I have to say that it may be one of King's best. It throws you into a wasteland and has you running to stay alive. What a great book! You will tear thru this book and wish there was a sequel. I have to say the movie portrayed this book amazingly and made the characters ever the more real. It is about an ancient demon that possesses the body of a policeman, who completely annihilates the entire town. There's no running/hiding from this guy!

6. The Passage – Justin Cronin
This might be my favorite book to date.
It is nice and long too so it kept me entertained for a while. So MANY things happen in this book that you hope it will never end. Luckily there is a sequel to this! This is another type of zombie/vampire Apocalypse novel, but an entire society resisted being killed and managed to form a barrier to block out those evil creatures... however... all good things must come to a bitter end! :)

7. Odd Thomas, Series of 4 books – Dean Koontz
This is such a fun, quirky and hilarious ghost story. Dean Koontz outdid himself on this series. I hope to see a movie of this. He has you laughing, crying, frightened, and thoroughly enthralled. My favorite part of this book is how he incorporated the ghost of Elvis and made him a main character. Very Witty and yet so sad. Odd was born with a gift of seeing ghosts, and they pull him every which way and he takes you on some crazy adventures.

8. Room- Emma Donoghue

Now this book is completely outside my normal horror genre. It is more non fiction because it is based on true events, and this story will definitely put a dent in your heart. A young girl is kidnapped and held hostage for close to a decade. The Kidnapper impregnates her and she raises a young boy in a one room shed. The story is told from a 5 year old's perspective. It is a heart-wrenching tale, but definitely a must read!

9. 11/22/63- Stephen King

This book, left me at a loss of words. It is that amazing. It is about time traveling back into time to try and stop a chain of events from happening. Quite similar to butterfly effect. What I liked so much about this book is how I instantly feel like I am transporting back into time. You feel a sense of a major impeding disaster and you want to shout out to the main character to HALT!! This was a MAJOR winner in my book, everyone must read!

10. The Hunger Games, series of 3 – Suzanne Collins

I was skeptical about this series but then I fell in love somewhere in the middle of the first novel. It is a story of survival, it is devastating, yet it is riveting, It makes you want to learn to hunt and fight for survival because you never know what lies in the future.

11. American Gods by Neil Gaiman

This book is original, quirky and creates it’s own genre. It focuses on mythology and throws you deep into a ark and mysterious fantasy world. The characters are simply amazing, the book is like one giant ancient painting.

12. White Oleander – Janet Fitch

This was another book outside my normal genre, but completely disturbing to the point where it leaves a mark on your heart. It is about a young girl whose mother goes to jail for murdering her boyfriend. The girl goes thru many HORRIBLE foster homes to finally find one that she feels at home with. The woman commits suicide and the girl is devastated and somehow manages to pick up the pieces by the end of the story. The movie adaptation was GREAT as well.

13. The Vampire Chronicles : Interview with the Vampire, The Queen of the Damned, Pandora, Lestat, Blood and Gold, Vittorio, Armand. Anne Rice

Anne Rice is definitely one of my favorite authors. She is descriptive and makes you fall in love with her vampire characters. She transports you back into time and creates lavish and luxurious scenery. You want to live in the fantasy world she creates for you. However, these vampires are not glittery. They are cruel, manipulative, and vicious, yet poetic, artistic and beautiful all together. I adore Pandora, Marius, Akasha and Vittorio. This series is a MUST read if you love Vampires.

14. The Beach- Alex Garland

This was an AWESOME book and movie. It is based on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, and a society that lives on it. Of course things go awry amongst the people there, and nothing can be peachy keen for long, it quickly downspirals into destruction and leaves you yearning for a life on this beach.

15. The Art of Seduction- Robert Greene

This is your instruction manual to life. If you read this book, it will change your perspective and the way your mind works. It is basically the cliff notes on how to manipulate your way into any favoring situation.

16. Edgar Cayce: The Sleeping Prophet

I wouldn't call even Edgar Cayce a psychic, I would call him a prophet. He had an amazing perspective that is fun to analyze. I think he is very underrated. Once you get into his mind you can never crawl out!
